About the event

Our first singing immersion in 2024 will convene Saturday, January 13,  the weekend of Martin Luther King's birthday holiday. We'll take a deep  dive into both traditional and contemporary civil rights and social  change songs. These songs offer nourishment/encouragement in the journey  to realize the Beloved Community that Dr. King eloquently evoked and  stood for.

A provisional schedule is below: 9:30 - 10 AM  Arrive (TBD) 10 to noon  Community Singing and song co-creation Noon - 1:30  Potluck lunch and a 30-minute hike. 1:30 to 3:00 Song Leadership Round Robin in Rotunda breezeway (Bring a song or chant to share!) 3:00 to 3:45 Visioning Songtuary's outreach for 2024 3:45- 4:00 Closing circle

We offer Songtuary Immersions on a "gift economy" basis.  There is no fee for participating. Your contributions, both financial  and spiritual, help us to propagate our Songtuary culture with widening  circles of kindred spirits.
